1 Passport valid for at least six months from the intended date of entry to Mexico with at least one blank page, and photocopies of the pages containing holder's photograph and personal details.
2.- Fill up the visa application form in Latin characters.
3.- A recent passport-size photograph.
4.- Proof of financial means in original and a set of photocopies, translated into Spanish or English:
a) Where applicable, employment letter expressing salary and period of time being working at the company or institution, business permit, company’s registration, letter from educational institution, and
b) Where applicable, original and a photocopy of the last three work payment receipts, the last six current bank statements, saving account books, long/short term deposit certificates, share dividends (these should be signed and stamped by the bank), pensions.
c) Property deeds, if applicable.
Family dependent must provide sponsor’s abovementioned documents, family proof, e.g., birth certificate or marriage certificate, and sponsor’s passport photocopies of the pages containing holder’s photograph and personal details.
5.- Photocopies of valid visas, if applicable
6.- Charter-letterhead, written by the public or private institution supporting the visitor, stating visit’s purposes, and estimated time of stay, if applicable.
7.-Payment of the consular fee.
Processing time
Processing time of a tourist visa is ten working days after handing in the aforementioned documentation, in a complete and satisfactory manner.
Receiving the documents does not guarantee issuing the visa for the applicant.
If the visa is authorized, a consular fee must be paid, which is the equivalent of $USD 36.00
